Dock levelers – or bridging platforms – ensure a smooth transition between the warehouse floor and a truck bed. The main task is to eliminate height differences between the loading dock and the vehicle, allowing forklifts or pallet jacks to move seamlessly. Installation Features
Hinged-lip levelers are installed in a pre-engineered pit according to technical drawings. Once the truck arrives, the operator activates the hydraulic system: the platform lifts, the lip unfolds, and smoothly rests on the truck bed. During the loading/unloading process, the system compensates for height fluctuations. A front protection beam safeguards the hydraulic unit, wiring, and control system.
